There’s no rest for the supermodel. Not content with infiltrating highstreet stores and perfume counters worldwide, the one-woman marketing machine that is Kate Moss is now making her mark on the hair world too. Teaming up with life-long pal and one of the world’s most influential
stylists James Brown, Kate has helped create a new range of luxury hair products – combining bespoke care and styling with a highstreet stockist and purse-friendly price tag.
James Brown London features 16 must-have products with a signature woodland scent and the kind of úber cool monochromatic packaging you’d expect from such a hot partnership. I’m already addicted to the Serum, it smoothes and defines crazy curly locks to perfection – James uses it himself and told me he too swears by it to tame his wild mass of corkscrew curls.
The other products in the range are just as fabulous, but you’d expect nothing less from a stylist who achieved the Holy Grail of a Vogue cover credit at the tender age of 22, styling a 17-year-old Kate Moss in what is now an infamous Vogue cover. James landed his first job in a Croydon salon when he was 15, where he first encountered schoolgirl Kate and the two became firm friends with a similar goal – to change the face of London fashion. And this collaboration doesn’t disappoint.
Come October, you’ll be able to try it yourself. Available in Boots stores nationwide and with each product costing a mere £5.95 – there’s really no excuse not to!
