Well padded and easy to keep on. || Acorn - Bermuda Moc (Blue Haze) - Footwear Great Shoe for WIDE Feet - I have very wide [sensitive] feet, especially in the toe box. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box, with no break-in period necessary! I first wore them for about one half an hour indoors, and the next time for roughly 7 hours on a 34 mile endurance hike, over some very rough terrain. They are also well ventilated, and my socks were not that sweaty when I changed them at the checkpoints. I love these shoes! I'm going to buy a second pair for later use [in case the model changes]. Also, I switched to the MT811 all-terrain running shoe after the terrain leveled out, with great results as well [for roughly 5 hours of road/trail]. Both shoes fit well from the moment that I put them on [and considering the very limited initial use], and I HIGHLY recommend them for anyone that suffers with the affliction of very wide feet like mine! || Acorn - Bermuda Moc (Blue Haze) - Footwear Love these shoes - I usually wear a size 6 but these run a bit big so I'm in a 5.5. Very comfortable. Have used them in a few workouts and they feel great, which is to say that I don't notice them. (I only notice shoes when they hurt!) I have bought the shoe in two different colors and get comments on both the red and the green. I would say the Cole Haan shoe overall is true to size. This shoe is no exception. We were planning a trip to Disneyworld and I knew I was going to be doing a lot of walking, so I decided to buy a shoe made for that purpose. I am so glad I did. My feet never hurt, even after walking for hours in the hot Florida sun. The shoe was so comfortable and gave me lots of support. The bumpy texture of the bottom (sole) feels good on your feet. The only negative thing about the shoe is the heel - it was stiff and cut into the back of my heel somewhat making it necessary for me to put band-aids on the backs of my heels to protect them!
