Overall, the shoe is a very true fit. However, the toe area is a bit narrow, so beware if you have wide toes. (The width is a pretty true fit in the ball of the foot.) This is by far the most expensive pair of flip flops I've ever purchased but they’re also the most comfortable I've ever worn by far!!! "Butter!" These were not super-comfortable out of the box; they took a couple of wearings to "break in." However, by the 3rd or 4th day...awesome! The gold is a little bright for me but I can live with it. The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. I stand on my feet all day and these sandals give the needed support as well as the adjustment straps if my feet swell. So when shopping for flip-flops, I nearly always head for the men's section. These flip-flops are simply superb! I normally wear a 7.5-8 in Women's sizes and I bought these in a Men's 8. They fit the bed of my foot perfectly, the arch support is fantastic. I bought these to replace my Rainbows (which hurt my feet after an hours wear) and they're a huge improvement. My only gripe is the thick strap hurts whenever I move forwards.
