These are expensive for a reason. They are very well made, have a great look, a comfortable footbed, and a sturdy sole. However... they cut my heels open every time. I wish I could get used to them as I've heard you're supposed to, but they are just painful. Very disappointing. I'm still getting used to the straps (adjustment and fit) just like I did on my Chacos similar to these. I purchased the dark orange color. Beautiful! These shoes live up to there description. I used to run in high school and after having a baby tried picking it up again, but wrecked my knees because of the terrible shoes I tried running in. After getting these shoes I have not had one problem with my knees. They are super comfortable and my joints feel great right after the run as well as the next day. I use these almost all of the time on wood trails and they are great for that. The built in stability works great for the uneven paths I'm running on. Would definitely recommend these shoes. I wore them about 6 or 7 hours the first night and they were completely comfortable and looked great. || Acorn - Halter Bareback (Blue Haze) - Footwear I was looking for cute sneakers that would accommodate my orthotics but were not too clunky. These have worked out really well, and the color combination is unusual (safari/seaport/bracken). These seem wider than many other Puma styles. Not excessively wide, though. Minus an insert they have no support or cushioning, but because of the width it's easy to change that. A really substantial orthotic might not fit, but a moderate sized one or a Dr. Scholl's insert would fit fine. || Acorn - Halter Bareback (Blue Haze) - Footwear Good sandal... These shoes are easy to put on, easy to take off, and seem to provide good arch support, which is rare in a sandal. My only issue is that the closures are a bit larger than necessary. The sandals still fit, but the sides don't match up exactly. In spite of that, the shoes stay on well and provide good protection for a sandal.
