They are sturdy enough to run in, breezy like a sandal and can get wet and bounce right back! The velcro strap for easy on and off is a huge bonus! My daughters live in these all summer. Disappointing - I bought these shoes online, thinking they were gonna be so sick, I was so let down with this shoe. First off the tongue is WAY TOO THICK, I had to cut the top of the tongue and remove the padding just to make it wearable. The toe box is too small, it hurt my toes, it’s way too bulky, and it felt way too small! The best shoe I’ve ever had was the Reynolds 2, and this shoe is a big disappointment.
