My mom has sciatic nerve damage from having two back surgeries, so she has constant pain in her legs and feet. These are the only shoes that have helped ease the pain. She has tried expensive name brand athletic style shoes and she still had to add extra support and they still hurt her feet and legs. She can wear these shoes as they are, without adding extra support, because they are so comfortable for her. These would be perfect for anyone who is on their feet most of the time or those who have problems with their feet, legs, and back... She has worn only Crocs since she was 1 1/2 years old and she was excited to add a new style to her collection. They stay on her feet much better than sandals/flip flops yet they give her the feel of a sandal since the toe is open. I have used driving mocs before but I wanted a sporty shoe. I first ordered a size 9. Too tight in the toe box and narrow. Reordered a size 9.5, a little better. Drove 7 hours, never did my foot slide off the pedal. Once again, I started getting pain in the toe box and the shoe felt like it was a visor. I could not wait to get out of the car and put my old Keds on. I did use them to drive back home. All I can say is try them if you like them. There really is no arch support on these shoes. I have worn this sandal from first thing in the a.m. to very late in the evening and it didn't bother me at all. Excellent shoe all around. Two thumbs up! || Acorn Kids - Shaggy Bootie (Toddler/Youth) (Black) - Footwear A great sandal to capture the gladiator trend - Really soft supple leather makes for a comfy sandal that feels good first wear and capitalizes on the trend. No arch support so I was a bit heavier on my feet in this one and ultimately the need to fasten two buckles made this one not for me. (Though I did realize only needed to adjust the top one to get in and out of the sandal.) Cute on the foot too, but definitely accentuated my foot which I decided wasn't my goal for this one. Good for casual day due to the heel. || Acorn Kids - Shaggy Bootie (Toddler/Youth) (Black) - Footwear Cute but fragile - These shoes were fairly comfortable although they felt a bit loose around my average width feet. I was wishing the buckle actually could loosen or tighten the strap. However, the buckle broke after the first time I wore them; it just cracked in half. So I'm trying to figure out if I can get it completely off and remove the other one so they're at least wearable. They looked really cute with the buckle, though! Bummer...
