I have several pairs of Keens and these do not disappoint. They offer a little bit of toe protection and with the slightly curved up nose, I rarely wind up with rocks/sand in my shoes. I get tons of compliments and am often asked where I got them. They are very true to size - I wear an 8.5 dress shoe and the 8.5 sandal fits perfectly. I have rather narrow feet and sandals pose a problem because they are always slipping off. Because of the wrap design, the Shuttles don't slip, slide, wobble and they aren't overly tight. The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style.
