Unless you're the bride, these don't really work with other dresses. Just personal taste, but I didn't care for the satin. They took about a week to break in, esp. around the toe, but they did not rub enough to cause a blister. It looks cute with shorts, capris or a skirt. Perfect overall summer shoe! I did have to order a double wide in this shoe instead of a wide, but Zappos was great about sending the replacement right out. They make it too easy to shop for shoes, especially if you have hard to find sizes like I do. I need a wide width and finding cute and comfortable shoes in Lexington in an 11 W is next to impossible. Although the shoe has excellent support, it's not heavy in weight which many good walking shoes seem to be. I find it very comfortable with or without my orthotics. I had seen the shoe locally; however, Zappos had the best price on it, and you can't beat their delivery policy! They are very comfortable and offer excellent arch support. When I first tried them on, they were a little tight on the toes due to the padding, but after wearing them, they are great. Loved them so much, I bought another pair in a different color! They do make a "whoosh" noise from the air escaping from the padding when walking. Not very noticeable. They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. All of her shoes are great, but I get heads turning with these. It fits perfectly, but the bottom is a little low and loose in the front. In the top in the back there are 2 hard things, 1 on each side. They are kind of annoying and there’s also one of those hard things in the bottom which really hurts.
