What is an Aero sole? The Aerosole is a special diamond pattern on the bottom of the sole, which adds to the flexibility, but also absorbs impact and disperses it evenly across the foot. We also incorporate “memory foam” which molds to the foot the first time you wear it and then bounces back every time instead of going flat. Many of our bottoms are a thermal plastic and poly-vinyl rubber composition, which are lightweight and flexible. What are Aerosoles made of and what makes them so soft and flexible? We use the softest leathers available from all over the world. Our leather is dyed not painted, which adds to the flexibility and allows the leather to stay soft and supple. Using a variety of fabrics that stretch and synthetics that are breathable and lightweight, our styles hug your foot, mold to your foot, bend with your foot... How do you measure the heel height? From the side of the instep of the shoe, we measure from the heel tab straight up the center of the heel to where it meets the sole. Can Aerosoles’ heels truly be comfortable? Yes.
