If you are patient enough to reconfigure the lacing on these, you've won half the battle. I probably wouldn't have had to work so hard at adjusting them had I paid attention to the other reviewers who stated that the shoes run VERY LARGE. They do. Definitely order a size down from your usual. The insoles on these are incredible, they really do feel like walking on marshmallows after you have worn them for a few weeks. I get stopped constantly by people wanting to know where I got them. Still, the lacing is a pain and in order for the shoe to fit correctly, you pretty much have to work on it to some degree every time you put your feet in them. If these didn't have a back and were just a slide, it would eliminate that. I have never worn them for water sports, but they are very grippy on pavement, rocks, clutch pedals, you name it. The insole is great, they are a unique-looking shoe, but overall pricey for what they are. || Ambiguous - Aristos Short (Blk) - Apparel Fabulous feel, old fashioned look - At first I couldn't believe how comfortable these shoes are. I'm heavy set and these things are amazingly comfortable. 4-8 hours of comfortable wear. Rarely do I get any sort of heel that's reasonably cute and comfortable. These shoes go with dress pants, suits, skirts, dresses, everything. It is just high enough to look cute and flattering, and is so comfortable I want to wear them all the time. I said to myself $50 for flip flops, but my feet say thank you every time I slip them on. They are worth every penny. || Ambiguous - Aristos Short (Blk) - Apparel Cute but fragile - These shoes were fairly comfortable although they felt a bit loose around my average width feet. I was wishing the buckle actually could loosen or tighten the strap. However, the buckle broke after the first time I wore them; it just cracked in half. So I'm trying to figure out if I can get it completely off and remove the other one so they're at least wearable. They looked really cute with the buckle, though! Bummer...
