There is not as much of a cushioning feel as I wish there was (it's more stiff). I tried this in 7.5 WW first because I'd been ordering shoes in W. Finding them too tight (normally I get a 7.5 W), I had to return this and as it seemed a little long... I got 7 W which fit perfectly. || Ambiguous - Blitz Boardshorts (Black) - Apparel FANTASTIC shoes!!! These shoes are comfortable for those of us with bunions. I have absolutely horrible bunions on both feet. Typically, I don't order shoes online because it is hard enough to find a pair that fit when I can try them on. Based on another reviewer’s comment (thanks!), I took a chance and got very lucky. These shoes even help make my feet look better as the design of the shoe covers up those darn unsightly bunions. Zappos customer service is fantastic, so absolutely no complaints there. The only slightly negative thing I can think of concerning these shoes is the strap around the ankle. It seems a little too long as it wasn't as snug as I thought it should be. This can be a good thing since it certainly wasn't too tight. The strap did stay put for nearly 10 hrs of walking and dancing, so it's really not a major problem. I can't emphasize enough how happy I am with my purchase. Now, I think I'll have to buy the black ones! I wear a size 6. || Ambiguous - Blitz Boardshorts (Black) - Apparel I like them better the longer I have them - I really liked the look of these shoes. I was having problems with my arches and wanted more arch support. My only concern was because they didn't cover much of my foot, they wouldn't support well enough. However, the strap tightens well and I seem to get enough support. Merrell runs large on me (I wear a 5), and the toe support sometimes doesn't feel like it's in the right place, but they're still comfortable. I like them more the longer I wear them and would recommend them. I got the red color, which is more burgundy and goes with lots of things. || Ambiguous - Blitz Boardshorts (Black) - Apparel Great Board Shorts - This is 2nd pair of O’Neill’s Freak Boardshort; my son has the green, and husband red. These shoes are not only good looking but also extremely comfortable right out of the box. The leather straps are soft and don't rub or cut into the foot. And they are available in extra wide, which is extremely hard to come by! I took them on a cruise and after walking all day on excursions, I'd go back to the ship, change for dinner, and my feet were happy! || Ambiguous - Blitz Boardshorts (Black) - Apparel Fabulous, but watch the size - These are fantastic, but way smaller then expected. If you wear a Euro 39, you should buy their 40, which translates into a 10! My normal shoe size is 15 but these in size 14 fit perfectly. These shoes are definitely adorable and look great on, but they are the most uncomfortable shoes I have ever owned.
