It is comfortable from the start, but not good for walking a lot. I got them in black and white. They are very comfortable. I've worn them with a dress to a wedding and with suits to work. I read the reviews about ordering the shoe a half size larger than my actual shoe size. They have lasted better than any other slipper I have purchased and they are still comfortable 6 months later. She says it is the nicest looking and most comfortable sandal she's ever had. || Ambiguous - Check Mate S/S Knit (Pewter) - Apparel The shoe itself was okay except for one feature: the tongue. The tongue is so long and overly padded that you cannot cinch the laces down tight over it. This means you are constantly retying and adjusting it, and cinching it down super tight which ends up hurting your foot. If North Face fixed the tongue, it would be a great shoe, but the current tongue is a huge problem and makes the shoe extremely uncomfortable. || Ambiguous - Check Mate S/S Knit (Pewter) - Apparel Very comfortable - These are the most comfortable pair of sandals I have ever worn. My normal shoe size is 15 but these in size 14 fit perfectly. They are very sturdily built and appear they will last a long, long time. || Ambiguous - Check Mate S/S Knit (Pewter) - Apparel A perfect daily sandal! This sandal walks with comfort, has a slightly sexy toe thong, and is a jump and go option. I have it in 2 colors and would consider buying more colors. I bought the second shoe in a half size larger. Either size works and I don't know my favorite yet. The youth size I have a feeling is different because all those reviews are bad. 360 flips in this shoe are mad, every big spin feels great.
