I ordered the yellow to go with a 50s inspired navy dress for a wedding. They look so adorable, but not campy. They seem to run a smidge small and a bit wide. I ordered an 8, but decided to keep because the 8.5 would probably be far too roomy as I have slightly narrow feet. Although the shoe has excellent support, it's not heavy in weight which many good walking shoes seem to be. I find it very comfortable with or without my orthotics. I had seen the shoe locally; however, Zappos had the best price on it, and you can't beat their delivery policy! She wanted something that was comfortable enough to wear around the house but that would also have room for her inserts. She LOVES this shoe. She mostly wears it without the inserts since it's so supportive on its own, but it can also easily accommodate her orthotics. This is a woman who lived most of her life barefoot and cried when the doctor told her she'd have to start wearing shoes! For her to love wearing this shoe is really saying a lot. I don't find the rubber toe separator uncomfortable at all, but I am also a seasoned flip-flop wearer. My big problem with these sandals, however, is that THE GLITTER ALL RUBBED OFF! I bought them a year ago, wore them like crazy last summer, but all the glitter rubbed off during that time. I didn't do anything unusual to them, like wear them in water or wash them. Very comfortable, great hot weather shoe. No breaking in needed, good for walking and standing in long lines. I got the moss, which is really a neutral color - looks nice with just about every other color while adding a touch of pizzazz.
