I originally ordered this shoe in a 6; it felt a little short on my toes but still comfortable. I called Zappos but had just 2 days before I was to leave for Europe. It was after their cut-off time for shipping shoes out the same day but they did it anyway and overnighted the 6 1/2 to me at their own expense!!!!! Who does that?!!!!! I am amazed!!! In addition, they did not charge me for the second pair & ask only that I return the first pair in the next 14 days or so. These shoes are very comfy and go great with capris. I ordered these hiking shoes right before a week in the Smokys, so they came out of the box and went immediately on the trail. They were absolutely the most comfortable hiking shoes I've ever worn. It rained some while we were on the trail and the shoes had great traction, even on slippery, wet rocks. I also ordered these same shoes for my daughters in the youth sizes. Their shoes performed equally well in the mountains. In fact, they prefer them to their tennis shoes at home.
