They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. I thought with the cork heel it would be much lighter. It's comfortable for the height but I don't recommend wearing for long periods of time. Only bad thing is that both shoes have started "squishing" on every step. Apparently the air bladders inside shoes have ruptured or something. Very annoying while walking around. And versatile... My 14 month old daughter loves these! She can walk easily in them since the front curves up and she likes to look at the lady bug face on the front. I had the Vista Walker and it was getting very worn. It didn't come in the width I needed this time, so I ordered the Tour Walker. The Tour Walker is not as sturdy as the Vista Walker. I would like to have more support. If you don't need the additional support, I think this shoe would be fine. I like the velcro straps on both. I hope they start having the Vista Walker in the widest size. No one would wear a shoe like this expecting much comfort, but the line of them is beautiful - very elegant. They are quite pointy in the toe as one other reviewer stated. This is not a big deal unless you wear a larger size. I do, but I love the shoes and get compliments left and right whenever I wear them, so I don't care about my size 10 feet!
