That pretty much sums it up. These are expensive for a reason. They are very well made, have a great look, a comfortable footbed, and a sturdy sole. However... they cut my heels open every time. I wish I could get used to them as I've heard you're supposed to, but they are just painful. Very disappointing. I originally ordered this shoe in a 6; it felt a little short on my toes but still comfortable. I called Zappos but had just 2 days before I was to leave for Europe. It was after their cut-off time for shipping shoes out the same day but they did it anyway and overnighted the 6 1/2 to me at their own expense!!!!! Who does that?!!!!! I am amazed!!! In addition, they did not charge me for the second pair & ask only that I return the first pair in the next 14 days or so. These shoes are very comfy and go great with capris. Zappos saved the day for me and I am a fan for life! This shoe is incredibly comfortable, supportive, cushioned, and it looks nice, too. No rubbing or breaking in. || ASICS - Cyber Javelin (Spike Blue/Liquid Silver) - Footwear Toe cap rubs small toes - After wearing these around the house for a couple of hours, I took them on a test hike of 2 miles. The built in toe cap caused blisters on my left foot. They may not be as "cushy" as the more expensive sandals but they are great for a day at the beach. No blisters or "wear in time" was needed. I like my sandals to be lightweight and flat soled so was concerned about Docs being heavy. Not the case at all. Flexible, comfy and a lot of compliments were given!!!
