They offer a little bit of toe protection and with the slightly curved up nose, I rarely wind up with rocks/sand in my shoes. I get tons of compliments and am often asked where I got them. They are very true to size - I wear an 8.5 dress shoe and the 8.5 sandal fits perfectly. I have rather narrow feet and sandals pose a problem because they are always slipping off. Because of the wrap design, the Shuttles don't slip, slide, wobble and they aren't overly tight. They are perfect. || ASICS - Cypress (Birch/Navy) - Footwear Super cute dress shoe. My daughter wore them in a wedding as a flower girl and they were perfect! They scuff fairly easily; under the pink it is white which was not a big deal for us.
