I addition, the striped fabric around the heel and the Sperry label are even more sources of irritation. I wish I had sent these back. || ASICS - Dan Gable Ultimate (Light Blue/Black/Quicksilver) - Footwear Naot Tango - The site says that the shoe runs large but I found that it was true to size if not a little smaller than my other Naot sandals. Overall a great shoe. || ASICS - Dan Gable Ultimate (Light Blue/Black/Quicksilver) - Footwear Great Shoe for WIDE Feet - I have very wide [sensitive] feet, especially in the toe box. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box, with no break-in period necessary! I first wore them for about one half an hour indoors, and the next time for roughly 7 hours on a 34 mile endurance hike, over some very rough terrain. They are also well ventilated, and my socks were not that sweaty when I changed them at the checkpoints. I love these shoes! I'm going to buy a second pair for later use [in case the model changes]. Also, I switched to the MT811 all-terrain running shoe after the terrain leveled out, with great results as well [for roughly 5 hours of road/trail]. Both shoes fit well from the moment that I put them on [and considering the very limited initial use], and I HIGHLY recommend them for anyone that suffers with the affliction of very wide feet like mine! || ASICS - Dan Gable Ultimate (Light Blue/Black/Quicksilver) - Footwear Softspots Portland - I absolutely LOVE this shoe. It is so comfortable! It looks cute with shorts, capris or a skirt. Perfect overall summer shoe! I did have to order a double wide in this shoe instead of a wide, but Zappos was great about sending the replacement right out. They make it too easy to shop for shoes, especially if you have hard to find sizes like I do. I need a wide width and finding cute and comfortable shoes in Lexington in an 11 W is next to impossible. Thank you Zappos for making all 3 of my transactions quick, easy, and painless! || ASICS - Dan Gable Ultimate (Light Blue/Black/Quicksilver) - Footwear Sandal that feels like a tennis shoe - Where else but Zappos can you find a 10 1/2 AA? Love these shoes - just wish they had an AAA. They are so comfortable that I find myself wearing them all the time. I really wanted them in bone, but no 10 1/2 was available in that color. I will ask to be notified when they are available in bone so that I will have 2 pairs. I got the camel color which is actually more of a subdued yellow. I would have liked them a bit narrower as I must velcro them all the way over which detracts from the appearance of the shoe. This is the first sandal I have owned in years as I can never find anything narrow enough to stay on my feet. || ASICS - Dan Gable Ultimate (Light Blue/Black/Quicksilver) - Footwear Toe cap rubs small toes - After wearing these around the house for a couple of hours, I took them on a test hike of 2 miles. The built in toe cap caused blisters on my left foot. I sent them back to Zappos. || ASICS - Dan Gable Ultimate (Light Blue/Black/Quicksilver) - Footwear OUCH - Very cute shoe but a killer! Felt a full size too small and the toe area is very cramped. Felt like the top of the shoe was pressing into my big toe. If you have a wide foot like me then I don't recommend these shoes.
