I wear a size 11 and most athletic style shoes make my feet look even bigger. I think that's because many shoe manufacturers think a large-sized women's fit is the same shape as a man's foot, but that is definitely not the case: The proportions are totally different. J-41 seems to know the difference. In these shoes, my look almost dainty and feel as if they are being gently cradled. I also have room to wiggle my toes, but my feet do not slip dangerously side to side the way they do in Keens and the like. || ASICS - Free Spirit (Chocolate/Storm/Sand) - Footwear You should get these - These are very comfortable and durable. Love the color of the blue ones. It is a sturdy flip-flop with good arch support. || ASICS - Free Spirit (Chocolate/Storm/Sand) - Footwear These DVS flip flops are pretty comfortable – they wear kind of like rainbows. One negative, the strap where they are attached to the sole is fraying and it appears to be a stitching defect. I should have sent them back, but I just decided not to bother. Overall, I like ‘em. I'm still getting used to the straps (adjustment and fit) just like I did on my Chacos similar to these. I purchased the dark orange color. Beautiful! I have several pairs of Keens and these do not disappoint. They are very comfortable! || ASICS - Free Spirit (Chocolate/Storm/Sand) - Footwear Cute walking shoe, not a great water shoe - Of all the water shoes I have worn, this would most likely rank near the worst. Sand collects at the bottom, it does not drain or dry well. The shoe will remain wet for hours. Minimal to zero arch support. Oddly in contrast to the other reviews, I purchased this for the look mostly. I thought the sage green with white flowers was cute! This shoe is not for you if you will truly get it wet. || ASICS - Free Spirit (Chocolate/Storm/Sand) - Footwear On the fence about the Florin, but leaning towards returning them. I bought a black pair to wear with dark-colored summer dresses, but I think they are too "heavy" a style, if that makes any sense. Too casual to be dressy, but a bit too awkward for jeans. These run small for Born sizes (or big? not sure if I have my direction right -- whichever way means that my feet usually drown in Born shoes, but these were actually smaller than I expected). I usually wear a 7.5. The Florin size 7/38 basically fits, but is a fraction of a centimeter too short. As there are no half sizes, the next size up is far too large. Comfort-wise, the slope is pretty steep. This is great in the sense that it makes the foot look smaller, but the toe part of the foot bed isn't as cushioned as the heel. I've only worn them up and down my carpet, but I'm not convinced they would be comfortable all day. || ASICS - Free Spirit (Chocolate/Storm/Sand) - Footwear Love this sandal! Love Birkenstocks. Love this sandal, it is cute and oooh so comfortable, very sturdy, and well made. Break in was a little rough as I don’t normally wear a thong sandal, but it was not unbearable. Love this sandal and I LOVE ZAPPOS. Fantastic service. Will definitely shop more with Zappos. || ASICS - Free Spirit (Chocolate/Storm/Sand) - Footwear Very Disappointing - I think Bass shoes have gone down in quality. These shoes lasted two months before the leather pulled away from the sole; in addition, the rubber on the heel peeled away within a couple of weeks. Too bad. Bass used to make a great shoe, but I won't be buying this brand ever again. || ASICS - Free Spirit (Chocolate/Storm/Sand) - Footwear Good sandal... These shoes are easy to put on, easy to take off, and seem to provide good arch support, which is rare in a sandal. My only issue is that the closures are a bit larger than necessary. The sandals still fit, but the sides don't match up exactly. In spite of that, the shoes stay on well and provide good protection for a sandal.
