The bumpy texture of the bottom (sole) feels good on your feet. The only negative thing about the shoe is the heel - it was stiff and cut into the back of my heel somewhat making it necessary for me to put band-aids on the backs of my heels to protect them! || Birkenstock - Arizona (Birko-Flor ) (Strawberry Birko-Flor) - Footwear I really want to like these but... I’m still not sure they’re worth the money. (Zappos has the lowest price though. I love Zappos!) Pluses: Does seem to work butt and core a little more than regular shoes. Very comfortable. Also looks groovy with workout attire. And the added height is nice. Minuses: Isn’t helping my plantar fasciitis. Can be slippery since your outsole is never completely flat on the ground. Not great for standing in place without leaning against anything, since you rock back and forth like a tipsy person. Tips for sizing: I wear a 7W and bought a 7.5M so my toes wouldn’t come too close to the front edge when foot rolls forward. Make sure you adjust the straps so your heel is as far back as possible, so you can really get the full rolling effect. || Birkenstock - Arizona (Birko-Flor ) (Strawberry Birko-Flor) - Footwear Reef Contour Smoothy - I’m always a fan of Reefs. I ordered this shoe even though it’s a men’s. I have it in another color & needed a brown. They have a pretty decent arch support & the material that the shoe is made of is very comfy to walk on. I can wear them all day with no problems. There is no break in period. I usually wear an 8 1/2-9 in women’s so I ordered a 9 in men’s since that is what size my other pair are. They could be a tad bit smaller but still fit well. Since they are men’s, the strap is looser fitting than a women’s pair but it’s not a problem & doesn’t make the shoe too loose or sloppy or rub. They're cool, comfortable, adjustable, durable walking sandals and better looking that Birkenstock. || Birkenstock - Arizona (Birko-Flor ) (Strawberry Birko-Flor) - Footwear I bought these last year and they are my fave chill-out shoes. During the week I'm in suits but I grab these for the weekend. They are extremely comfortable and have not had any issues about quality. They can make your feet sweat and will take a stench if worn consistently. I threw 'em in the wash and they came out fine. They have a ragged look and I saw other versions I might also purchase. || Birkenstock - Arizona (Birko-Flor ) (Strawberry Birko-Flor) - Footwear Surf Walker Sandals - These are the finest sandals ever. I have had others and bottom line - fit, look, comfort, and durability are superior to any other sandal. I still have my first pair (3 years now) that I use to walk the beach. Yea sure it was a great shoe until I started wearing it. The hemp bamboo thing did not work out. Was concerned about ordering because I wear a wide width shoe, but these were plenty wide. You can exercise in them they're so comfortable.
