However, the second time I wore them, I yanked the straps on the side (which are known as bootstraps for pulling them on) and the stitching ripped. Not a big deal. I can drop them at the shoe store to get it enforced, but I shouldn't have to go through that with brand new boots. They are slightly tight on the arch, but I do have a very high arch. The steel toe goes unrecognizable, which is important during wear. The leather is nice and besides the straps, the construction is nice, but original Drs were much nicer. I would recommend the boot, just be careful pulling them on and off! || Birkenstock - Arizona High Arch (Taupe Suede High Arch) - Footwear I bought these in the pearlescent ivory color. They aren't the sexiest shoe on the block, but they are comfy and, I am hoping, perfect just peeking from under my wedding dress. || Birkenstock - Arizona High Arch (Taupe Suede High Arch) - Footwear Walk this way - I love these shoes! They take a little getting used to because of the rounded sole but my legs feel like they are getting a better workout when I walk (especially feel the muscles in my quads). The only complaint that I have is that my toes feel a bit tight (the shoes are definitely not too small; my toes just sort of feel pushed toward the front of the shoe). Overall, they are great! || Birkenstock - Arizona High Arch (Taupe Suede High Arch) - Footwear Love these shoes - I usually wear a size 6 but these run a bit big so I'm in a 5.5. Very comfortable. Have used them in a few workouts and they feel great, which is to say that I don't notice them. (I only notice shoes when they hurt!) Maybe not as much support for overpronation, but I only notice when I'm looking for it. || Birkenstock - Arizona High Arch (Taupe Suede High Arch) - Footwear Best dress ever! This dress is so flattering - I bought one in every color they offer! It looks great and can be dressed up or down. Very cute. || Birkenstock - Arizona High Arch (Taupe Suede High Arch) - Footwear Shockingly ugly in person -- nothing cute or delicate about this shoe at all. The footbed is extremely wide, so even though it's marked M/W, it really isn't for medium feet at all. The strap falls much lower on the ankle than is obvious from the picture, adding to the clunkiness. "Dark brown" is a muddy grayish-tinged brown under fluorescent lighting. I can't speak to the comfort because I had them on my feet for about five seconds before I packed them away for return. I do like Born, but the Gale is a miss in my book. || Birkenstock - Arizona High Arch (Taupe Suede High Arch) - Footwear Hard To Find Narrow Shoes - Cute shoe, however this shoe I ordered in a slim but still must wear thick socks, I am surprised because I normally wear narrow width. I stand on my feet all day and these sandals give the needed support as well as the adjustment straps if my feet swell. I found all the parts to be comfortable---only wish they could improve on the ease of buckling by tapering the entry strap. || Birkenstock - Arizona High Arch (Taupe Suede High Arch) - Footwear Cute but fragile - These shoes were fairly comfortable although they felt a bit loose around my average width feet. I was wishing the buckle actually could loosen or tighten the strap. However, the buckle broke after the first time I wore them; it just cracked in half. So I'm trying to figure out if I can get it completely off and remove the other one so they're at least wearable. They looked really cute with the buckle, though! Bummer...
