The bumpy texture of the bottom (sole) feels good on your feet. The only negative thing about the shoe is the heel - it was stiff and cut into the back of my heel somewhat making it necessary for me to put band-aids on the backs of my heels to protect them! || Birkenstock - Arizona Narrow (Ruby Suede) - Footwear Got this as a gift for my father-in-law. He is very happy with the quality. I read the reviews about ordering the shoe a half size larger than my actual shoe size. I did order a 9 instead of an 8.5 and the shoe is a great fit. || Birkenstock - Arizona Narrow (Ruby Suede) - Footwear Comfort personified - I have these shoes in pink, yellow, blue and green. Love these shoes - just wish they had an AAA. They are so comfortable that I find myself wearing them all the time. I really wanted them in bone, but no 10 1/2 was available in that color. I will ask to be notified when they are available in bone so that I will have 2 pairs. I got the camel color which is actually more of a subdued yellow. I would have liked them a bit narrower as I must velcro them all the way over which detracts from the appearance of the shoe. This is the first sandal I have owned in years as I can never find anything narrow enough to stay on my feet. || Birkenstock - Arizona Narrow (Ruby Suede) - Footwear On the fence about the Florin, but leaning towards returning them. I bought a black pair to wear with dark-colored summer dresses, but I think they are too "heavy" a style, if that makes any sense. Too casual to be dressy, but a bit too awkward for jeans. These run small for Born sizes (or big? not sure if I have my direction right -- whichever way means that my feet usually drown in Born shoes, but these were actually smaller than I expected). I usually wear a 7.5. The Florin size 7/38 basically fits, but is a fraction of a centimeter too short. As there are no half sizes, the next size up is far too large. Comfort-wise, the slope is pretty steep. This is great in the sense that it makes the foot look smaller, but the toe part of the foot bed isn't as cushioned as the heel. I've only worn them up and down my carpet, but I'm not convinced they would be comfortable all day. || Birkenstock - Arizona Narrow (Ruby Suede) - Footwear Beautiful Dressy Sandal - Beautiful high-quality silver slippers. A good fit, much more comfortable than I expected for this heel height, but after awhile my toes start to slide forward and feel a little squashed; possibly "Foot Petals" would help with this. Regardless, they're gorgeous and I love them! || Birkenstock - Arizona Narrow (Ruby Suede) - Footwear Great service - We just love Zappos.com, my daughters have very difficult sizes to fit - one an 11 and the other a 4 1/2, but we always find the perfect fit on Zappos. My daughter lives in flip-flops and this is her 3rd pair of Reefs. She loves Zappos! || Birkenstock - Arizona Narrow (Ruby Suede) - Footwear Good sandal... These shoes are easy to put on, easy to take off, and seem to provide good arch support, which is rare in a sandal. My only issue is that the closures are a bit larger than necessary. The sandals still fit, but the sides don't match up exactly. In spite of that, the shoes stay on well and provide good protection for a sandal.
