The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. I have absolutely horrible bunions on both feet. Typically, I don't order shoes online because it is hard enough to find a pair that fit when I can try them on. Based on another reviewer’s comment (thanks!), I took a chance and got very lucky. These shoes even help make my feet look better as the design of the shoe covers up those darn unsightly bunions. Zappos customer service is fantastic, so absolutely no complaints there. The only slightly negative thing I can think of concerning these shoes is the strap around the ankle. It seems a little too long as it wasn't as snug as I thought it should be. This can be a good thing since it certainly wasn't too tight. The strap did stay put for nearly 10 hrs of walking and dancing, so it's really not a major problem. I can't emphasize enough how happy I am with my purchase.
