I have worn these daily since I received them (next day after ordering - Zappos is wonderful). So comfortable... no breaking in needed. I didn't have the problems mentioned by some others. It fits nicely around my bunion and my little toe is well contained in the shoe. I really like the looks of this shoe. It was comfortable for the first few hours I wore it, but I am on my feet and walking all day. Although the shoe has excellent support, it's not heavy in weight which many good walking shoes seem to be. I find it very comfortable with or without my orthotics. I had seen the shoe locally; however, Zappos had the best price on it, and you can't beat their delivery policy! I've ordered several times from Zappos without a problem! || Birkenstock - Arizona Suede (Unisex) (Mocha Suede) - Footwear If it doesn't fit you must acquit - I used to own a pair of Vasque Sundowner GTX and for years it held-up excellent as I hiked along the Appalachian Trail. I put hundreds of miles on them. Then naturally the sole has just worn out and when I ordered another pair, wow was it awful. It turns out Vasque now makes these boots somewhere else and the fit is not the same as in the old days when Vasque made them in Italy. I really wish they would go back to the Italian version. Buyer beware until they make this boot back in Italy were it belongs. It has a few nice pockets both inside and out that are handy. It's a little bigger than I really wanted and easy to fill up with too much stuff.
