However, the second time I wore them, I yanked the straps on the side (which are known as bootstraps for pulling them on) and the stitching ripped. Not a big deal. I can drop them at the shoe store to get it enforced, but I shouldn't have to go through that with brand new boots. They are slightly tight on the arch, but I do have a very high arch. The steel toe goes unrecognizable, which is important during wear. The leather is nice and besides the straps, the construction is nice, but original Drs were much nicer. I would recommend the boot, just be careful pulling them on and off! || Birkenstock - Arizona Suede (Unisex) (Taupe Suede) - Footwear Better than barefoot - Incredibly comfortable. Was concerned about ordering because I wear a wide width shoe, but these were plenty wide. I ordered a wide and I needed it in the toe box area, but the strap slips just a bit.
