They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. It fits perfectly, but the bottom is a little low and loose in the front. In the top in the back there are 2 hard things, 1 on each side. They are kind of annoying and there’s also one of those hard things in the bottom which really hurts. || Birkenstock - Bali Soft Footbed (Taupe Silky Suede) - Footwear Perfect fit. My foot is hard to fit because I have a flexible arch. This shoe is soft except the toe strap is a little stiff but I'm sure that it will soften as I wear it. || Birkenstock - Bali Soft Footbed (Taupe Silky Suede) - Footwear My "Paul Bunion" says ahhhhhhhhhh - I've been having trouble with bunions, mine was on top of the foot at the big toe joint. Try finding shoes that don't rub on that area!! It's impossible, until now. I can run in these and my feet aren't swelling afterwards. My hip is staying in alignment. I did take a 1/2 size smaller, usually 8.5, but they were huge. I still have a little extra room in the 8's, but 7.5 would be too short. Note, I have a friend that bought the blue & red model, they don't run as generous as the white & grey style. Happy Feet are productive feet. Thank you Earth shoes, I now own 3 pairs in less than 2 weeks time. I also have very high arches, so this shoe is great. || Birkenstock - Bali Soft Footbed (Taupe Silky Suede) - Footwear Comfortable shoe - My only problem with these is they don’t stay tied very well. The laces get loose during a hike and they slip off the hooks on top. To prevent them from coming off you have to tie them on too tight. But for general stuff around camp they are very comfortable. || Birkenstock - Bali Soft Footbed (Taupe Silky Suede) - Footwear Love the bag! This bag is perfect. Perfect size. Perfect number of compartments. Perfect colors. If I had any complaints, it would be the lining could be heavier duty and the straw surface is already showing a little wear. I've had ankle surgery and find it hard to get shoes that are comfortable. These are the first pair of sandals since my surgery 3 years ago that I can wear all day. Wore them at the beach and couldn't ask for a better shoe. They did rub a small blister because they were wet. Once they dried, not another problem. Great shoe. I've got 2 pair and would like another!!! || Birkenstock - Bali Soft Footbed (Taupe Silky Suede) - Footwear I like using this bag as my gym bag. The zippered opening for the yoga mat can be a bit difficult to use, maybe it's better for slimmer yoga mats? It does work with my yoga mat though. The photo of the bag was different when I ordered it, so I was surprised by how big it is, but I'm glad it's a good-sized bag (holds all my gym stuff!) The strap is very long and hits me about where it hits on the mannequin, but that's fine with me. And I love the color; I have the bossa nova/potting soil color.
