The cork used is 100% renewable and sustainable harvested from the Oak tree. The harvesting of the cork does not harm the Oak Tree and allows for new bark to grow back beginning the life cycle all over again. Each contoured footbed will molds and shapes to your foot with the heat of your body creating a custom footbed that supports and cradles each and every step. The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. Now there is no heel bruising, too! || Birkenstock: Birkenstock Kids': Birkenstock Kids' Shoes The best dress shoes! These shoes are so comfortable and light. Like slippers (with a heel). The heel is just the right ht...not too high and not too low. The only problem I have had is that the sling back on one of them is a bit loose and falls down from time to time, but that may be a function of the size of my foot. || Birkenstock: Birkenstock Kids': Birkenstock Kids' Shoes Excellent shoe - Bought my 4 1/2 size girl a size 5. They have room to grow, are cute and well made. Another unusual "feature" is that when expanded, the wallet is within microns of bill sized... so it makes for difficult cramming of monies. I've taken to folding my bills and keeping large bills on one side and small bills on the other. This is more of a fashion wallet than a practical wallet, but it suits my needs. Seems sturdy. It's a wallet, yo. || Birkenstock: Birkenstock Kids': Birkenstock Kids' Shoes PERFECT SHOE - I truly love these flip-flops. They are true to size and very comfortable. || Birkenstock: Birkenstock Kids': Birkenstock Kids' Shoes Cool shoes... but not durable at all - I had these shoes for about a month and then they started to fall apart. The black material around the white streak in the shoe just started to come apart and then the shoe looked bad. || Birkenstock: Birkenstock Kids': Birkenstock Kids' Shoes Oakley Piper 9" Boardshort - A very comfortable and good-looking summer short: the length is perfect for longer legs and the material is super comfortable. I liked the pink bow on the beige shorts (which is the style I have) and these are a great short for casual clothes! || Birkenstock: Birkenstock Kids': Birkenstock Kids' Shoes Air Max Fan - I run about 25-30 mi/wk on flat sidewalk and I love Nike and the Air Max. I get new ones about every 5-6 months. These are comfortable and cute. I'm not so sure about the laces though. I may switch them out b/c they come untied a lot. || Birkenstock: Birkenstock Kids': Birkenstock Kids' Shoes Shoes are very, very cute. Got lots of compliments and they look great with jeans or a skirt. My only complaint with them is that I got a blister on my heel the first time I wore them -- maybe because of the small amount of rubber on the heel area. I started wearing a band-aid over my heel when I wear them and no problems since.
