I was looking for a light weight mesh sneaker that would hold my orthotics and these are just perfect. Had several foot surgeries and my foot still swells after prolonged standing. The toe box has plenty of room both side to side and up and down. The mesh seems to have more give. I read the reviews about ordering the shoe a half size larger than my actual shoe size. I did order a 9 instead of an 8.5 and the shoe is a great fit. || Birkenstock - Boston (Antique Bordeaux Nubuck) - Footwear My "Paul Bunion" says ahhhhhhhhhh - I've been having trouble with bunions, mine was on top of the foot at the big toe joint. Try finding shoes that don't rub on that area!! It's impossible, until now. I can run in these and my feet aren't swelling afterwards. My hip is staying in alignment. I did take a 1/2 size smaller, usually 8.5, but they were huge. I still have a little extra room in the 8's, but 7.5 would be too short. Note, I have a friend that bought the blue & red model, they don't run as generous as the white & grey style. Happy Feet are productive feet. Thank you Earth shoes, I now own 3 pairs in less than 2 weeks time. I also have very high arches, so this shoe is great. || Birkenstock - Boston (Antique Bordeaux Nubuck) - Footwear Comfort and a Great Price - Considering the type of shoe this is, the appearance is very nice. Although the shoe has excellent support, it's not heavy in weight which many good walking shoes seem to be. I find it very comfortable with or without my orthotics. I had seen the shoe locally; however, Zappos had the best price on it, and you can't beat their delivery policy! I've ordered several times from Zappos without a problem! || Birkenstock - Boston (Antique Bordeaux Nubuck) - Footwear Great skirt! This skirt is great for after a swim or just to wear around town. The overlap is enough that you don't have to worry about a little wind revealing too much, as with most wrap skirts. The material is kind of like swimsuit material, but thicker and very soft. Extremely comfortable. || Birkenstock - Boston (Antique Bordeaux Nubuck) - Footwear High, but not painful - This is a great shoe if you are nuts for high heels, but need to walk a bit. The shoe runs a little short due to the padding. I normally order a 6 1/2, but wore a 7 in this shoe. It is not as comfortable as a wedge, but is the best high heeled pump I own for comfort at this height. || Birkenstock - Boston (Antique Bordeaux Nubuck) - Footwear A perfect daily sandal! This sandal walks with comfort, has a slightly sexy toe thong, and is a jump and go option. I have it in 2 colors and would consider buying more colors. I bought the second shoe in a half size larger. Either size works and I don't know my favorite yet. Expect compliments. || Birkenstock - Boston (Antique Bordeaux Nubuck) - Footwear Great shoe - Felt a bit stiff and weird at first (like they were "pushing" my feet forward, if that makes any sense), but after breaking them in, I love them.
