I don't find the rubber toe separator uncomfortable at all, but I am also a seasoned flip-flop wearer. My big problem with these sandals, however, is that THE GLITTER ALL RUBBED OFF! I bought them a year ago, wore them like crazy last summer, but all the glitter rubbed off during that time. I didn't do anything unusual to them, like wear them in water or wash them. My friend suggested putting clear nail polish or hairspray over the glitter next time, so I will try that. || Birkenstock - Boston (Brown Suede) - Footwear You should get these - These are very comfortable and durable. Love the color of the blue ones. It is a sturdy flip-flop with good arch support. || Birkenstock - Boston (Brown Suede) - Footwear Cute and comfy! These shoes are cute and comfy. They took about a week to break in, esp. around the toe, but they did not rub enough to cause a blister. The tongue is so long and overly padded that you cannot cinch the laces down tight over it. This means you are constantly retying and adjusting it, and cinching it down super tight which ends up hurting your foot. If North Face fixed the tongue, it would be a great shoe, but the current tongue is a huge problem and makes the shoe extremely uncomfortable. || Birkenstock - Boston (Brown Suede) - Footwear Great sandals - My 4 year old loves these sandals. They are comfortable and keep his feet cool. The zippered opening for the yoga mat can be a bit difficult to use, maybe it's better for slimmer yoga mats? It does work with my yoga mat though. The photo of the bag was different when I ordered it, so I was surprised by how big it is, but I'm glad it's a good-sized bag (holds all my gym stuff!) The strap is very long and hits me about where it hits on the mannequin, but that's fine with me. And I love the color; I have the bossa nova/potting soil color.
