I addition, the striped fabric around the heel and the Sperry label are even more sources of irritation. They are extremely comfortable and light weight, which is amazing considering I'm on my feet up to 16 hours/day. I owned a previous generation of these shoes, and noticed these new ones are improved with a lighter weight and better support. || Birkenstock - Boston (Emerald Suede) - Footwear Squishy shoe after only a couple weeks - Very comfortable shoe. Love the fit. Only bad thing is that both shoes have started "squishing" on every step. Apparently the air bladders inside shoes have ruptured or something. Very annoying while walking around. This is the second pair of Nike shoes that have done this. I don't play ball or anything; these are just worn as a casual shoe. || Birkenstock - Boston (Emerald Suede) - Footwear I love these shoes. These shoes feel great. I got them just before going on a trip to San Francisco. I walked all over in them and my feet never hurt. They look great with jeans, capris and a skirt/ or dress. I have another pair of DJP shoes and these are more comfortable. I will have to look for another style in black too. I love the pewter color though. I've received many compliments on them. || Birkenstock - Boston (Emerald Suede) - Footwear Great all-around shoe - I bought this shoe for my sister, who wears inserts. She wanted something that was comfortable enough to wear around the house but that would also have room for her inserts. She LOVES this shoe. She mostly wears it without the inserts since it's so supportive on its own, but it can also easily accommodate her orthotics. This is a woman who lived most of her life barefoot and cried when the doctor told her she'd have to start wearing shoes! For her to love wearing this shoe is really saying a lot. I'm going to surprise her with a second pair! || Birkenstock - Boston (Emerald Suede) - Footwear My husband loves them - Great looking shoes, at the beginning we thought we will have to send them back. My husband has somewhat wide foot and he was hurt after wearing them for an hour. However he liked the look so much he wanted to try one more day. And it worked he has very comfy shoes now, he is playing street hokey twice a week in them and his mates liked them a lot too. Overall it was a great choice; just work them out for a couple days if you have wider foot.
