It is comfortable from the start, but not good for walking a lot. I have wide, problem feet and I would recommend these for the style and for the comfort. || Birkenstock - Boston (Gold Metallic Leather) - Footwear Pleasantly surprised! Ordered these late Friday...had them Monday! I was looking for a light weight mesh sneaker that would hold my orthotics and these are just perfect. Had several foot surgeries and my foot still swells after prolonged standing. The toe box has plenty of room both side to side and up and down. The mesh seems to have more give. I purchased these in wide and a half size larger. || Birkenstock - Boston (Gold Metallic Leather) - Footwear Great travel shoe - My feet are between a 6 & 6 1/2. I originally ordered this shoe in a 6; it felt a little short on my toes but still comfortable. I called Zappos but had just 2 days before I was to leave for Europe. It was after their cut-off time for shipping shoes out the same day but they did it anyway and overnighted the 6 1/2 to me at their own expense!!!!! Who does that?!!!!! I am amazed!!! In addition, they did not charge me for the second pair & ask only that I return the first pair in the next 14 days or so. These shoes are very comfy and go great with capris. Zappos saved the day for me and I am a fan for life! Thank you Zappos! || Birkenstock - Boston (Gold Metallic Leather) - Footwear Awesome shoes - Great shoes, I'm probably going to buy my second pair (in another color). I got mine a year and a half ago and they are still going strong (got the green ones but that isn't enough - I want the black ones as well). If you like Puma, you will love these. The shoe size that I have now are a little bit too small (10, my fault), but its leather has adapted itself to my foot size - I may notice that they are too small after a day of use. I live in one of the most rainy cities that I know of. Still these keep my feet dry. They don't provide much of ventilation, but that has never been a problem either. Recommended? Yes. Don't hesitate buying these if you like their looks. For the notice: A feature I like with them is the print they leave when used in snow (rawr!) || Birkenstock - Boston (Gold Metallic Leather) - Footwear I LOVE THESE!!! Got the copper with yellow bling and they are adorable, with capital A!!! I had misgivings about toe loop, but so far, so good. Copper is a great color and will blend in with any color outfit I will wear. Very comfortable. Also Zappos is heads and above a first rate company. Customer service is superb and I am very impressed with how customer satisfaction is truly a priority. Very pleased with awesome shoe and awesome company. Easy to walk in too. || Birkenstock - Boston (Gold Metallic Leather) - Footwear My feet are rejoicing - For years, I bought nothing but Adidas Supernova Trail shoes. But for some reason, the last pair completely tore up my feet. So I limped into the running store and after trying on many pairs, I swear the heavens opened and the angels started singing when I put the Brooks Dyads on my feet. It was like bouncing around on a cloud. I have a high arch and am a slight under-pronator, so I put in a pair of the green SuperFeet orthotics. I have noticed since switching to these shoes that my run is more stable, and I can actually last a lot longer on the road. || Birkenstock - Boston (Gold Metallic Leather) - Footwear Very Disappointing - I think Bass shoes have gone down in quality. These shoes lasted two months before the leather pulled away from the sole; in addition, the rubber on the heel peeled away within a couple of weeks. Too bad. Bass used to make a great shoe, but I won't be buying this brand ever again. || Birkenstock - Boston (Gold Metallic Leather) - Footwear My friend calls these my "wicked witch of the west shoes" I love them. I was in Santa Fe recently and saw a woman wearing them. I wanted a pair, shopped around on line and ordered them from my very favorite online shoe store: Zappos. They are comfortable but can look dressy enough to wear when dressed up.
