If you are patient enough to reconfigure the lacing on these, you've won half the battle. I probably wouldn't have had to work so hard at adjusting them had I paid attention to the other reviewers who stated that the shoes run VERY LARGE. They do. Definitely order a size down from your usual. The insoles on these are incredible, they really do feel like walking on marshmallows after you have worn them for a few weeks. I get stopped constantly by people wanting to know where I got them. Still, the lacing is a pain and in order for the shoe to fit correctly, you pretty much have to work on it to some degree every time you put your feet in them. If these didn't have a back and were just a slide, it would eliminate that. I have never worn them for water sports, but they are very grippy on pavement, rocks, clutch pedals, you name it. The insole is great, they are a unique-looking shoe, but overall pricey for what they are. || Birkenstock - Boston - Microfiber Soft Footbed (Black Microfiber) - Footwear Talk about comfort...I ordered these shoes on a Monday morning with standard shipping (I think it's 5-7 days), then got an email the next morning saying that they were delivered already, Zappos gave me free next day shipping along with no shipping or delivery fees. I was a little worried if they would fit because I got my real size, I usually have to get a whole size smaller for the Ugg boots. They fit perfectly and are soooo comfortable that I wear them every single day to work. I need to get them in other colors, but need to wait for another paycheck. I highly recommend them along with the Zappos web site. My son would rather wear them than gym shoes. It's the first pair he grabs even if we are going out for dinner. Much too loose all around - I had to get a full size smaller than usual (I wear an 8 and got a 7) for this to be snug enough so that the heel doesn't slip and chafe as I walk. It's a comfortable shoe for a flat, but I'm not too happy with the styling. It looks adorable as pictured, but it doesn't really flatter the foot. Especially on me, I have rather short legs and thick ankles... these kind of look like boats on my feet! There's no shape to them whatsoever. I think I'll just stick to wearing them around the house and when I'm out in the yard gardening. || Birkenstock - Boston - Microfiber Soft Footbed (Black Microfiber) - Footwear Funky Dr. Martens - They are so fun and can't wait for her to wear these great looking boots. I’m sure they're comfortable I had Dr. Martens before myself. The quality is excellent on this line. || Birkenstock - Boston - Microfiber Soft Footbed (Black Microfiber) - Footwear Pretty and versatile - Felt a bit longer but otherwise a good fit and very pretty on, especially if you like something that minimizes the size/length of your foot. Black patent is versatile for summer skirts or can dress up to evening in the hot weather. Wedge is a comfy heel option though this one is a bit narrow so took me a bit to get used to (I live in Dansko’s). || Birkenstock - Boston - Microfiber Soft Footbed (Black Microfiber) - Footwear Professional - A very professional, refined looking shoe. I enjoy wearing it. The sole is comfortable. I can function in this shoe all day, but I would like it better if the heel were softer such as Softspots shoes.
