It is comfortable from the start, but not good for walking a lot. I have wide, problem feet and I would recommend these for the style and for the comfort. || Birkenstock - Boston (Mocha Suede) - Footwear FANTASTIC shoes!!! These shoes are comfortable for those of us with bunions. I have absolutely horrible bunions on both feet. Typically, I don't order shoes online because it is hard enough to find a pair that fit when I can try them on. Based on another reviewer’s comment (thanks!), I took a chance and got very lucky. These shoes even help make my feet look better as the design of the shoe covers up those darn unsightly bunions. Zappos customer service is fantastic, so absolutely no complaints there. The only slightly negative thing I can think of concerning these shoes is the strap around the ankle. It seems a little too long as it wasn't as snug as I thought it should be. This can be a good thing since it certainly wasn't too tight. The strap did stay put for nearly 10 hrs of walking and dancing, so it's really not a major problem. I can't emphasize enough how happy I am with my purchase. Now, I think I'll have to buy the black ones! I wear a size 6. || Birkenstock - Boston (Mocha Suede) - Footwear Great shoe, tricky fit. After reading reviews that this shoe runs a full size smaller than marked, I ordered a 7 when I typically wear an 8. At first the 7s felt great, but then I walked the dog around the block and came home carrying my shoes rather than wearing them. Ouch! I had blisters for days. I love the look of the shoe so much, though, that I exchanged them for a 7.5. What a difference! They look great, feel like slippers, and no more blisters. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! || Birkenstock - Boston (Mocha Suede) - Footwear I bought these shoes for a trip involving a lot of walking and a lot of beaches (love Door County, WI). These shoes were great! My toes did rub just a little bit in the front, but there was absolutely no break-in period and these stayed on my feet. It's amazing how just adjusting the drawstring will change how this shoe feels on your foot. I plan on using these for kayaking and am really excited. They don't have heel coverage, which worried me, but like I said, they stay on your feet and I feel that my heel will be protected. Well worth the investment. || Birkenstock - Boston (Mocha Suede) - Footwear I LOVE THESE!!! Got the copper with yellow bling and they are adorable, with capital A!!! I had misgivings about toe loop, but so far, so good. Copper is a great color and will blend in with any color outfit I will wear. Very comfortable. Also Zappos is heads and above a first rate company. Customer service is superb and I am very impressed with how customer satisfaction is truly a priority. Got these in yellow - it's a bright canary yellow just like the photo… and they are fabulous! Compliments all around - but not for the shy and retiring. The lightweight canvas (and colour) make them the perfect spring/summer boots. Great Zappos service, as usual. || Birkenstock - Boston (Mocha Suede) - Footwear OUCH - Very cute shoe but a killer! Felt a full size too small and the toe area is very cramped. Felt like the top of the shoe was pressing into my big toe. If you have a wide foot like me then I don't recommend these shoes. Very disappointed and sending them back. || Birkenstock - Boston (Mocha Suede) - Footwear Strappy but a bit clunky - My first foray into the negative heel. Likely good for the calf but makes me walk like a duck and so not a great match. But a pretty sandal and one of the nicer strappy options for those who want a good for you summer shoe. Shiny metallic gold is not too much given the skinny straps. || Birkenstock - Boston (Mocha Suede) - Footwear Great workhorse sandal - I love this shoe. I bought it based on the recommendations I read here, and I'm so glad I did. The leather's really soft and comfortable; I wore mine 3 days in a row, when I first got them, with no sore spots and no blisters. Yes, they’re not ultra-sexy shoes, but they look really nice with summer trousers, and I can wear them at work without problems. Well worth the money, and the fast Zappos shipping is always appreciated.
