Yea sure it was a great shoe until I started wearing it. The hemp bamboo thing did not work out. The shoe fell apart a few days ago like a couple of building blocks. || Birkenstock - Boston (Redwood Suede) - Footwear Excellent cushion footbed - I had been eyeing these sandals for a long time and finally decided to order them. I was pleased with the look. The picture does do it justice. My true size is 9 medium width. After reading the reviews, I decided to get a wide width because most said the sandals ran narrow. So I ordered a size 9 wide and it was still too narrow for me. I loosened the strap to the last hole which did help a little, but it still didn't feel wide enough. Also, when you walk the shoes make a swoosh noise (air). If these would have fit me really well, I probably wouldn't have cared about the noise. I love the look of the sandals, but I ended up returning them. I love ZAPPOS though! || Birkenstock - Boston (Redwood Suede) - Footwear THE best dress shoe! This is an excellent choice for formal occasions. I wore it to a wedding and had them on from 5pm to midnight with NO PAIN, dancing included! They're very sexy, rich and sophisticated and they really do have great padding on the ball of the foot. This shoe is incredibly comfortable, supportive, cushioned, and it looks nice, too. No rubbing or breaking in. || Birkenstock - Boston (Redwood Suede) - Footwear Cool shoes... but not durable at all - I had these shoes for about a month and then they started to fall apart. The black material around the white streak in the shoe just started to come apart and then the shoe looked bad. || Birkenstock - Boston (Redwood Suede) - Footwear Prana Paradise Tee - A very stylish and comfortable tee shirt: the swirling graphic is cool and I love the detailing of the white trim on the neck, arms, and bottom of the shirt. I hand wash mine, but I think it could be machine-washed in cold water quite nicely. It's a beautiful shirt! || Birkenstock - Boston (Redwood Suede) - Footwear Great right out of the box - These shoes are super-comfortable, and required no breaking in. The only thing I was surprised by is that the upper toe of the shoe is made of a thick mesh, which is great for letting your feet breathe, but which does let in very fine dust and dirt. But these are great shoes--I would definitely buy them again. || Birkenstock - Boston (Redwood Suede) - Footwear Slippery insole - I bought this shoe for traveling to S. Africa, hoping to have a walking sandal that could withstand hours on the road. However, I have found that the footing is slippery and my foot slides back and forth, making walking unsteady. I would not recommend this sandal for walking, but it is comfortable otherwise and attractive.
