All of her shoes are great, but I get heads turning with these. This shoe is so simple and elegant. Looks great to dress things up (jeans, skirts, shorts, whatever). It is very flat (no foot support at all), but still comfortable. I ordered a wide and I needed it in the toe box area, but the strap slips just a bit. Perfect overall summer shoe! I did have to order a double wide in this shoe instead of a wide, but Zappos was great about sending the replacement right out. They make it too easy to shop for shoes, especially if you have hard to find sizes like I do. I need a wide width and finding cute and comfortable shoes in Lexington in an 11 W is next to impossible. The gel in the footbed is great. The leather straps are soft and pliable, so it doesn't dig in to your skin. The only thing that I would change about the bag is the strap. They took a few days to break in, but they are very comfortable, and seem quite stylish. || Birkenstock - Boston Soft Footbed (Cocoa Wool) - Footwear Adorable, but awkward fit - I had high hopes for this shoe because it was edgy and toed the line between formal and casual, but the fit was all wrong. The heel width is fine, if a bit narrow, but due to construction of this shoe, my inner heel tends to sit off of the sole. If I were pigeon-toed, I imagine this shoe would fit perfectly. Also, there is no traction on this shoe, which would be dangerous on non-carpeted surfaces such as hardwood floors or tile.
