The only draw back was the right shoe is a tad tighter than the left. || Birkenstock - Boston Soft Footbed (Sand Nubuck) - Footwear Excellent cushion footbed - I had been eyeing these sandals for a long time and finally decided to order them. I was pleased with the look. The picture does do it justice. My true size is 9 medium width. After reading the reviews, I decided to get a wide width because most said the sandals ran narrow. So I ordered a size 9 wide and it was still too narrow for me. I loosened the strap to the last hole which did help a little, but it still didn't feel wide enough. Also, when you walk the shoes make a swoosh noise (air). If these would have fit me really well, I probably wouldn't have cared about the noise. I love the look of the sandals, but I ended up returning them. Very comfortable. Have used them in a few workouts and they feel great, which is to say that I don't notice them. (I only notice shoes when they hurt!) Maybe not as much support for overpronation, but I only notice when I'm looking for it. || Birkenstock - Boston Soft Footbed (Sand Nubuck) - Footwear Comfort and a Great Price - Considering the type of shoe this is, the appearance is very nice. Although the shoe has excellent support, it's not heavy in weight which many good walking shoes seem to be. I find it very comfortable with or without my orthotics. I had seen the shoe locally; however, Zappos had the best price on it, and you can't beat their delivery policy! I've ordered several times from Zappos without a problem! || Birkenstock - Boston Soft Footbed (Sand Nubuck) - Footwear Waking on air! The shoes are wonderful. They are very comfortable and offer excellent arch support. When I first tried them on, they were a little tight on the toes due to the padding, but after wearing them, they are great. Loved them so much, I bought another pair in a different color! They do make a "whoosh" noise from the air escaping from the padding when walking. Not very noticeable. There's no denying that the price tag is a little head-spinning, but the fit of these shoes is so divine and they are so seasonless, that I know I'll wear them often and for years. I can truly imagine trekking all over a city in these; they are that comfortable. And the metallic gunmetal is incredibly liquid and eye-catching; literally, I have never worn these shoes without receiving multiple compliments. I got caught in a flood and walked through water with them on and they did not fade, crack, or warp at all. I just bought a second pair. Good pick for casual wear.
