The bumpy texture of the bottom (sole) feels good on your feet. The only negative thing about the shoe is the heel - it was stiff and cut into the back of my heel somewhat making it necessary for me to put band-aids on the backs of my heels to protect them! || Birkenstock - Boston Super Grip (White Leather) - Footwear Excellent cushion footbed - I had been eyeing these sandals for a long time and finally decided to order them. I was pleased with the look. The picture does do it justice. My true size is 9 medium width. After reading the reviews, I decided to get a wide width because most said the sandals ran narrow. So I ordered a size 9 wide and it was still too narrow for me. I loosened the strap to the last hole which did help a little, but it still didn't feel wide enough. Also, when you walk the shoes make a swoosh noise (air). If these would have fit me really well, I probably wouldn't have cared about the noise. I love the look of the sandals, but I ended up returning them. I love ZAPPOS though! || Birkenstock - Boston Super Grip (White Leather) - Footwear Great shoe, tricky fit. After reading reviews that this shoe runs a full size smaller than marked, I ordered a 7 when I typically wear an 8. At first the 7s felt great, but then I walked the dog around the block and came home carrying my shoes rather than wearing them. Ouch! I had blisters for days. I love the look of the shoe so much, though, that I exchanged them for a 7.5. What a difference! They look great, feel like slippers, and no more blisters. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! || Birkenstock - Boston Super Grip (White Leather) - Footwear I bought these shoes for a trip involving a lot of walking and a lot of beaches (love Door County, WI). These shoes were great! My toes did rub just a little bit in the front, but there was absolutely no break-in period and these stayed on my feet. It's amazing how just adjusting the drawstring will change how this shoe feels on your foot. I plan on using these for kayaking and am really excited. They don't have heel coverage, which worried me, but like I said, they stay on your feet and I feel that my heel will be protected. Well worth the investment. || Birkenstock - Boston Super Grip (White Leather) - Footwear I feel like I am wearing slippers... I love these flip-flops. They are sooo comfortable. I have never worn Uggs before, but I think I will be buying more. These were so comfortable from the moment I put them on. These were not super-comfortable out of the box; they took a couple of wearings to "break in." However, by the 3rd or 4th day...awesome! The gold is a little bright for me but I can live with it. Overall I would try this brand again. || Birkenstock - Boston Super Grip (White Leather) - Footwear Rockport Farren - Typical Rockport Dressport quality. The square toe makes my smaller, high-arched feet look longer and slimmer. Only downside is that for a W width, it's a bit narrower than the round-toed wing-tips I usually by in the Dressport line (e.g. Addington). I'd by one width wider next time. Zappos order processing was (as usual) superb, and lightning fast. || Birkenstock - Boston Super Grip (White Leather) - Footwear Did not fit :( I have a size 12 narrow foot, which creates problems finding shoes. Athletic shoes usually need to be a size 13, but I thought I would give this shoe a try. This shoe is cute and I thought it would be nice to wear this Summer. Unfortunately, the shoe was just too small. I love Zappos! As always...great customer service, timely delivery and return process. || Birkenstock - Boston Super Grip (White Leather) - Footwear Greek Chic - The most important things: they fit without my toes peeking over the edge AND the thong doesn’t hurt ...and I am thrilled to report they fit perfectly...a true size 10... AND the thong does not rub or in any way hurt. Stylish, well priced and comfy...what more could you ask for?
