Ordered these late Friday...had them Monday! I was looking for a light weight mesh sneaker that would hold my orthotics and these are just perfect. Had several foot surgeries and my foot still swells after prolonged standing. The toe box has plenty of room both side to side and up and down. The mesh seems to have more give. I purchased these in wide and a half size larger. || Bite - Golf AC 2 (Light Grey/Charcoal/Black) - Footwear Well worth it! I ordered some other platform shoes on Zappos (RSVP and Type Z) and had to return 3 pairs of them because they were stiff, uncomfortable and had a very steep rise. Although these are more expensive than those other brands, they are well worth it! They fit beautifully and are gorgeous!! I ordered the yellow to go with a 50s inspired navy dress for a wedding. They look so adorable, but not campy. They seem to run a smidge small and a bit wide. I ordered an 8, but decided to keep because the 8.5 would probably be far too roomy as I have slightly narrow feet. The rubber sole is great...very comfortable. || Bite - Golf AC 2 (Light Grey/Charcoal/Black) - Footwear The other Vans Classic - Besides the Slip-On this is the other classic Vans shoe. They take a little bit to break-in, but this has been my favorite skate shoe for years with the simple, understated Vans style. || Bite - Golf AC 2 (Light Grey/Charcoal/Black) - Footwear A little more stylish than your average Teva sandals... I live in sandals during the summer, but it's hard for me to find designs that are rugged yet feminine enough to be able to wear with skirts and dresses. These are perfect - strappy and lightweight, but can withstand running around on gravel, grass, sand...you name it. I do agree with the reviewers who mention that the foot bed on this is rather flat. It has a few nice pockets both inside and out that are handy. It's a little bigger than I really wanted and easy to fill up with too much stuff.
