The bumpy texture of the bottom (sole) feels good on your feet. The only negative thing about the shoe is the heel - it was stiff and cut into the back of my heel somewhat making it necessary for me to put band-aids on the backs of my heels to protect them! || Born - Alberta (Black Leather) - Footwear Love Dansko Sela!!! These shoes are fantastic... I love them, they stay on my feet unlike other slide/sandals. I only wear Danskos since my knee surgery and I love them. I was having problems with my arches and wanted more arch support. My only concern was because they didn't cover much of my foot, they wouldn't support well enough. However, the strap tightens well and I seem to get enough support. Merrell runs large on me (I wear a 5), and the toe support sometimes doesn't feel like it's in the right place, but they're still comfortable. I like them more the longer I wear them and would recommend them.
