They aren't the sexiest shoe on the block, but they are comfy and, I am hoping, perfect just peeking from under my wedding dress. || Born - Axis (Lava) - Footwear Reef Contour Smoothy - I’m always a fan of Reefs. I ordered this shoe even though it’s a men’s. I have it in another color & needed a brown. They have a pretty decent arch support & the material that the shoe is made of is very comfy to walk on. I can wear them all day with no problems. There is no break in period. I usually wear an 8 1/2-9 in women’s so I ordered a 9 in men’s since that is what size my other pair are. They could be a tad bit smaller but still fit well. Since they are men’s, the strap is looser fitting than a women’s pair but it’s not a problem & doesn’t make the shoe too loose or sloppy or rub. Reef Contour Smoothy is a great shoe!! || Born - Axis (Lava) - Footwear A very pleasant surprise - I have paid much more for a walking shoe and was not nearly as pleased as I was with the Propet Tide Water Walker. I just returned from vacationing in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales and never gave a thought to my feet because of the extreme comfort of this shoe. I like its light weight and foot support and would definitely recommend it to others. I have back problems and this shoe provided more relief than I have ever experienced in a walking shoe. Overall great buy for the price. || Born - Axis (Lava) - Footwear On the fence about the Florin, but leaning towards returning them. I bought a black pair to wear with dark-colored summer dresses, but I think they are too "heavy" a style, if that makes any sense. Too casual to be dressy, but a bit too awkward for jeans. These run small for Born sizes (or big? not sure if I have my direction right -- whichever way means that my feet usually drown in Born shoes, but these were actually smaller than I expected). I usually wear a 7.5. The Florin size 7/38 basically fits, but is a fraction of a centimeter too short. As there are no half sizes, the next size up is far too large. Comfort-wise, the slope is pretty steep. This is great in the sense that it makes the foot look smaller, but the toe part of the foot bed isn't as cushioned as the heel. I've only worn them up and down my carpet, but I'm not convinced they would be comfortable all day. || Born - Axis (Lava) - Footwear For cycling - I bought a pair of these shoes under the impression that they were designed for cycling/mountain biking. They fit great and the sole grips the pedals rather well. I would recommend these to anyone for bike riding, not sure about any other activities. || Born - Axis (Lava) - Footwear Keen on Keen's - I ordered the Keen Daytona sandals, and fell in love! They took a few days to break in, but they are very comfortable, and seem quite stylish. || Born - Axis (Lava) - Footwear Very cute dress. I like that the white is not too light, so I don't think there are transparency issues. I think the fabric is perfect for summer. And the cut seems to be very flattering. I did need to go a size down, but I bounce between small and medium in Patagonia. I'm small on top (34A) so the darts on the medium did not work for me.
