I teach 2nd grade and have had bunion surgery and I was able to wear this sandal all day (no break-in time). I got lots of compliments, too, on the style and color. || Born - Bail (Smoke (Taupe) Suede) - Footwear A little disappointed - Sadly, I will have to return these shoes. I am normally a 7.5. I ordered a 7 and they are too big. I didn't like the color as well. They are listed as "Pearl", but look more like grey. || Born - Bail (Smoke (Taupe) Suede) - Footwear Great travel shoe - My feet are between a 6 & 6 1/2. I originally ordered this shoe in a 6; it felt a little short on my toes but still comfortable. I called Zappos but had just 2 days before I was to leave for Europe. It was after their cut-off time for shipping shoes out the same day but they did it anyway and overnighted the 6 1/2 to me at their own expense!!!!! Who does that?!!!!! I am amazed!!! In addition, they did not charge me for the second pair & ask only that I return the first pair in the next 14 days or so. These shoes are very comfy and go great with capris. Zappos saved the day for me and I am a fan for life! Thank you Zappos! || Born - Bail (Smoke (Taupe) Suede) - Footwear I love this skirt - This skirt is fantastic--it motivates me to actually get out of bed to run on days when I want to sleep in instead. Okay, not every day. The only negative is that the compression shorts underneath are not particularly tight so they tend to ride up. However, I have not found this to detract much from the skirt. || Born - Bail (Smoke (Taupe) Suede) - Footwear Great Shoe! I love Born sandals and own several pairs. They are always comfortable, durable, and look great. I ordered the Ditto in gold. The gold thread is subtle, making the shoe a great neutral color. They were just what I was looking for in a wedge shoe. I wore them while walking all over Munich. Just a great shoe, as I have come to expect from Born. || Born - Bail (Smoke (Taupe) Suede) - Footwear The shoe itself was okay except for one feature: the tongue. The tongue is so long and overly padded that you cannot cinch the laces down tight over it. This means you are constantly retying and adjusting it, and cinching it down super tight which ends up hurting your foot. If North Face fixed the tongue, it would be a great shoe, but the current tongue is a huge problem and makes the shoe extremely uncomfortable. || Born - Bail (Smoke (Taupe) Suede) - Footwear Great update! Slightly modified from the original... The Half Cab "Pro" has a polyurethane insole (same as AV Sk8 Lo or the TNT 2 shoes) and just slightly more padding in the tongue. Both are good things! After more than 15 years, this shoe still holds its own in terms of boardfeel, protection, and style. Now there is no heel bruising, too! || Born - Bail (Smoke (Taupe) Suede) - Footwear Nice bag - very sturdy - I was looking for a sturdy straw bag and that's what I got. It has a few nice pockets both inside and out that are handy. It's a little bigger than I really wanted and easy to fill up with too much stuff. But, when you have kids, there is always "stuff" in your purse. || Born - Bail (Smoke (Taupe) Suede) - Footwear Professional - A very professional, refined looking shoe. I enjoy wearing it. The sole is comfortable. I can function in this shoe all day, but I would like it better if the heel were softer such as Softspots shoes.
