I addition, the striped fabric around the heel and the Sperry label are even more sources of irritation. They fit great and the sole grips the pedals rather well. This is not a big deal unless you wear a larger size. I do, but I love the shoes and get compliments left and right whenever I wear them, so I don't care about my size 10 feet!
