It is comfortable from the start, but not good for walking a lot. I have wide, problem feet and I would recommend these for the style and for the comfort. || Born - Carlisle (Oceano Patent) - Footwear Better than barefoot - Incredibly comfortable. Was concerned about ordering because I wear a wide width shoe, but these were plenty wide. You can exercise in them they're so comfortable. || Born - Carlisle (Oceano Patent) - Footwear Walk this way - I love these shoes! They take a little getting used to because of the rounded sole but my legs feel like they are getting a better workout when I walk (especially feel the muscles in my quads). The only complaint that I have is that my toes feel a bit tight (the shoes are definitely not too small; my toes just sort of feel pushed toward the front of the shoe). Overall, they are great! || Born - Carlisle (Oceano Patent) - Footwear I love these shoes!!! These shoes are the most amazing summer shoes for kids! They are sturdy enough to run in, breezy like a sandal and can get wet and bounce right back! The velcro strap for easy on and off is a huge bonus! My daughters live in these all summer. They are absolutely wonderful! || Born - Carlisle (Oceano Patent) - Footwear Robeez's T-Strap - The baby did not like the elastic around her heel. It may have been a little snug for her foot. But otherwise, they are cute and well made. || Born - Carlisle (Oceano Patent) - Footwear Shockingly ugly in person -- nothing cute or delicate about this shoe at all. The footbed is extremely wide, so even though it's marked M/W, it really isn't for medium feet at all. The strap falls much lower on the ankle than is obvious from the picture, adding to the clunkiness. "Dark brown" is a muddy grayish-tinged brown under fluorescent lighting. I can't speak to the comfort because I had them on my feet for about five seconds before I packed them away for return. I do like Born, but the Gale is a miss in my book. || Born - Carlisle (Oceano Patent) - Footwear These fit my feet! Ok - I think if you wear large sizes, this style may not complement your feet. I took them out of the box and the first thing I thought was "ugh - these look big and really wide". I need wide shoes for my bunions and I wear a 6 - they look and feel great, so this style rates a "5" for me. The wedge is supportive and I love the nubbies; just enough for massaging while you're walking. However, I don't think these sandals are for everyone. I purchased the baby blue/white pair; very breezy looking. || Born - Carlisle (Oceano Patent) - Footwear Iron Maiden Vans are metal baby - How awesome are my new Maiden Vans... so much so I think people should bow in their presence. The Trooper looks sick, like fine art for my feet. Classic slip-on Vans, constructed lovely as usual. Super comfy, perfect for running around doing this and that. I've worn them with a dress to a wedding and with suits to work. They look great with everything!
