If you are patient enough to reconfigure the lacing on these, you've won half the battle. I probably wouldn't have had to work so hard at adjusting them had I paid attention to the other reviewers who stated that the shoes run VERY LARGE. They do. Definitely order a size down from your usual. The insoles on these are incredible, they really do feel like walking on marshmallows after you have worn them for a few weeks. I get stopped constantly by people wanting to know where I got them. Still, the lacing is a pain and in order for the shoe to fit correctly, you pretty much have to work on it to some degree every time you put your feet in them. If these didn't have a back and were just a slide, it would eliminate that. I have never worn them for water sports, but they are very grippy on pavement, rocks, clutch pedals, you name it. The insole is great, they are a unique-looking shoe, but overall pricey for what they are. || Born - Carmel (Ocean (Blue) Leather) - Footwear Great shoe, but a 1/2 size smaller than normal size! I bought these for my husband. He had the black set and loved them so much I purchased the brown. Very comfortable, but you must buy them half a size smaller than your normal size. This is by far the most expensive pair of flip flops I've ever purchased but they’re also the most comfortable I've ever worn by far!!! "Butter!" I wear a 7.5 and I ordered a 7 and they’re perfect. || Born - Carmel (Ocean (Blue) Leather) - Footwear Fun shoe - The only problem with this sandal is that the leather part is not high enough to accommodate the top of my foot! If you have normal feet, you'll love these. They are otherwise comfy right out of the box, the toe box is roomy, and the support is good. I bought this shoe at the mall thinking it was a two strap style of the clog. I got a size 8 and wore them for hours. They felt great. A little tight at first, but they mold to the size of your feet. Later I found out that they were called mary-janes and are for women. OOPS! That’s right! I bought them thinking they were unisex. I still wear them and think they fit and feel great and much better looking than the clog. More men should buy them so they will become a unisex shoe. You can wear them for hours, even in the very hot Las Vegas summer. A MUST HAVE SANDAL! || Born - Carmel (Ocean (Blue) Leather) - Footwear A little more stylish than your average Teva sandals... I live in sandals during the summer, but it's hard for me to find designs that are rugged yet feminine enough to be able to wear with skirts and dresses. These are perfect - strappy and lightweight, but can withstand running around on gravel, grass, sand...you name it. I do agree with the reviewers who mention that the foot bed on this is rather flat. I would only avoid buying this style if you require a lot of arch support. || Born - Carmel (Ocean (Blue) Leather) - Footwear Cute and comfortable - I tried six pairs of white dress shoes from Zappos and these were my favorite and are true to size and width. || Born - Carmel (Ocean (Blue) Leather) - Footwear Beautiful but painful - The shoes are gorgeous; however, the material of the sandal is really rough and harsh on the toes which after some walking starts create bad sores. || Born - Carmel (Ocean (Blue) Leather) - Footwear Adorable - I love this bathing suit. It fits perfectly, but the bottom is a little low and loose in the front. In the top in the back there are 2 hard things, 1 on each side. They are kind of annoying and there’s also one of those hard things in the bottom which really hurts.
