I was glad to read previous reviews because I too purchased a half a size smaller and it was a perfect fit. I'm heavy set and these things are amazingly comfortable. 4-8 hours of comfortable wear. Rarely do I get any sort of heel that's reasonably cute and comfortable. These shoes go with dress pants, suits, skirts, dresses, everything. The arch by my toes rubbed a bit at first - nice size heel and sleek, stylish shoes. Great with slacks for work, comfortable walking shoe. I got these in black leather and love the feel of the shoe. These are much better shoes in the midsole than past Asics. Not so stiff. More flexible yet still great cushion. The only thing I was surprised by is that the upper toe of the shoe is made of a thick mesh, which is great for letting your feet breathe, but which does let in very fine dust and dirt. I ordered a 7 and they are too big. I didn't like the color as well. They are listed as "Pearl", but look more like grey.
