However, the second time I wore them, I yanked the straps on the side (which are known as bootstraps for pulling them on) and the stitching ripped. Not a big deal. I can drop them at the shoe store to get it enforced, but I shouldn't have to go through that with brand new boots. They are slightly tight on the arch, but I do have a very high arch. The steel toe goes unrecognizable, which is important during wear. The leather is nice and besides the straps, the construction is nice, but original Drs were much nicer. I would recommend the boot, just be careful pulling them on and off! || Born - Cielo (French Roast Leather) - Footwear Female's Opinion - Much better than Rainbows – I have very wide, duck feet. So when shopping for flip-flops, I nearly always head for the men's section. These flip-flops are simply superb! I normally wear a 7.5-8 in Women's sizes and I bought these in a Men's 8. They fit the bed of my foot perfectly, the arch support is fantastic. I bought these to replace my Rainbows (which hurt my feet after an hours wear) and they're a huge improvement. My only gripe is the thick strap hurts whenever I move forwards. I think the straps are designed to be more "pushed back" than I'm used to. I'm trying to speed in the break-in period by wetting the underside of the strap, which makes a huge difference comfort wise. Great shoe! I can see these lasting me a long time. From first putting them on to taking them off. The insoles are extremely soft and supportive. || Born - Cielo (French Roast Leather) - Footwear Very Comfortable Shoe! These shoes are not only good looking but also extremely comfortable right out of the box. The leather straps are soft and don't rub or cut into the foot. And they are available in extra wide, which is extremely hard to come by! I took them on a cruise and after walking all day on excursions, I'd go back to the ship, change for dinner, and my feet were happy! || Born - Cielo (French Roast Leather) - Footwear Good for me - The way this shoe is built allows for a wider foot and a high instep to fit. The shoe is really narrow and the lower straps at the top of the shoe really dig into your foot. They also don't look nearly as nice on my feet as they do straight out of the box.
