I was pleased with the look. The picture does do it justice. My true size is 9 medium width. After reading the reviews, I decided to get a wide width because most said the sandals ran narrow. So I ordered a size 9 wide and it was still too narrow for me. I loosened the strap to the last hole which did help a little, but it still didn't feel wide enough. Also, when you walk the shoes make a swoosh noise (air). If these would have fit me really well, I probably wouldn't have cared about the noise. I love the look of the sandals, but I ended up returning them. I love ZAPPOS though! || Born - Concordia (Black Leather) - Footwear My favorite sandal - I've been wearing this style for years. I love the look of these shoes, but since they are so high, my foot slides down and squishes my toes. They are 4 inches, not 3.5. The criss-cross hurt my toes. I had tried other shoes from my local stores, but they didn't fit right. I absolutely love this shoe, but I can't seem to figure out why they're so wobbly. I can wear 4 inch spike heels to dinner with fewer balance problems than with these shoes. I ordered the shoe in a Wide and they fit perfectly. Wore them to a formal dance and didn't need to take them off. Did need to soak my feet the next day though... || Born - Concordia (Black Leather) - Footwear I was looking for cute sneakers that would accommodate my orthotics but were not too clunky. These have worked out really well, and the color combination is unusual (safari/seaport/bracken). These seem wider than many other Puma styles. Not excessively wide, though. Minus an insert they have no support or cushioning, but because of the width it's easy to change that. A really substantial orthotic might not fit, but a moderate sized one or a Dr. Scholl's insert would fit fine. || Born - Concordia (Black Leather) - Footwear Adorable, but awkward fit - I had high hopes for this shoe because it was edgy and toed the line between formal and casual, but the fit was all wrong. The heel width is fine, if a bit narrow, but due to construction of this shoe, my inner heel tends to sit off of the sole. If I were pigeon-toed, I imagine this shoe would fit perfectly. Also, there is no traction on this shoe, which would be dangerous on non-carpeted surfaces such as hardwood floors or tile.
