A good fit, much more comfortable than I expected for this heel height, but after awhile my toes start to slide forward and feel a little squashed; possibly "Foot Petals" would help with this. I was pleased with the look. The picture does do it justice. My true size is 9 medium width. After reading the reviews, I decided to get a wide width because most said the sandals ran narrow. So I ordered a size 9 wide and it was still too narrow for me. I loosened the strap to the last hole which did help a little, but it still didn't feel wide enough. Also, when you walk the shoes make a swoosh noise (air). If these would have fit me really well, I probably wouldn't have cared about the noise. I love the look of the sandals, but I ended up returning them. I love ZAPPOS though! || Born - Contrast X Belt (Sand) - Accessories So satisfied with Softwalk! I have just spent a small fortune on Mephisto sandals...let me tell you the SOFTWALK MEDINA has so much more support. Comfort for walking long distances and the style is great. I returned my Mephistos and will be ordering ONLY Softwalk from now on. || Born - Contrast X Belt (Sand) - Accessories I was looking for a basic pair of comfortable sandals, bought these based on other reviews, and have been very satisfied. The one issue I have with them might end up resolving itself shortly – I sometimes find that the strap across the ankle feels tight, and it's difficult to get it loose enough. It is, however, a hot June in Colorado, and I'm due to give birth any day now, so I'm wondering if my feet and ankles aren't swelling slightly by the end of the day. Otherwise, they're quite comfortable. I ordered a half size smaller than I normally would, also based on what others said, and found that to be just the right choice. || Born - Contrast X Belt (Sand) - Accessories Just what I would expect from Merrell - Great shoe. My son just started walking and he loves these shoes. They fit perfectly. When he crawls, they don't fall off. They stay on his feet very well. I would definitely recommend these shoes! || Born - Contrast X Belt (Sand) - Accessories Wide sizes - I need the widest width for my foot brace. I had the Vista Walker and it was getting very worn. It didn't come in the width I needed this time, so I ordered the Tour Walker. The Tour Walker is not as sturdy as the Vista Walker. I would like to have more support. If you don't need the additional support, I think this shoe would be fine. I like the velcro straps on both. I hope they start having the Vista Walker in the widest size. They both look nice and they are comfortable. || Born - Contrast X Belt (Sand) - Accessories Old World meets flashy shoe! I found out three days before my wedding that my shoes were not going to make it with my dress. My outfit was coming from India and the currier did not get my shoes to the airport in time. I immediately got onto Zappos and typed in what I needed and this shoe arrived by 2PM the next day. I am really impressed with Zappos and this shoe in silver went well with my wedding attire and was comfortable all day. || Born - Contrast X Belt (Sand) - Accessories A less comfortable Easy Spirit - I like this sandal, but I wish the material used for the sole was more comfortable. There is not as much of a cushioning feel as I wish there was (it's more stiff). I tried this in 7.5 WW first because I'd been ordering shoes in W. Finding them too tight (normally I get a 7.5 W), I had to return this and as it seemed a little long... I got 7 W which fit perfectly. || Born - Contrast X Belt (Sand) - Accessories Slippery insole - I bought this shoe for traveling to S. Africa, hoping to have a walking sandal that could withstand hours on the road. However, I have found that the footing is slippery and my foot slides back and forth, making walking unsteady. I would not recommend this sandal for walking, but it is comfortable otherwise and attractive.
