They are made of comfortable, stretchy fabric. The waistband is not too low or too tight, plus the length is very flattering. I'm heavy set and these things are amazingly comfortable. 4-8 hours of comfortable wear. Rarely do I get any sort of heel that's reasonably cute and comfortable. After reading reviews that this shoe runs a full size smaller than marked, I ordered a 7 when I typically wear an 8. At first the 7s felt great, but then I walked the dog around the block and came home carrying my shoes rather than wearing them. Ouch! I had blisters for days. I love the look of the shoe so much, though, that I exchanged them for a 7.5. What a difference! They look great, feel like slippers, and no more blisters. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! || Capezio - Half-Sole Sandasol (Tan) - Footwear Very good walking shoe!! This shoe was quite comfortable. I purchased it for my honeymoon and walked around quite a bit. The only SLIGHT problem was that if my foot was not entirely slid in, the top of the shoe rubbed on the top of my foot. Perfect number of compartments. Perfect colors. If I had any complaints, it would be the lining could be heavier duty and the straw surface is already showing a little wear. Helle is the only brand of shoes I have worn for years because this is the only brand that combines beauty and true foot health/comfort. My feet hurt terribly in all other dress/work shoes because I have flat feet and other foot challenges (probably from wearing women’s shoes all my life). Helle makes it a point to build in a REAL arch support. And of all the current Helle styles, this one is my absolute favorite. It is so cute and SO, SO, SO comfortable. I was searching for this particular Helle style when I discovered Zappos. I was surprised and thrilled to actually find these shoes - and then after I ordered them, I was delighted to discover that Zappos has GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am in shoe heaven!!! Thank you Zappos! || Capezio - Half-Sole Sandasol (Tan) - Footwear I bought this shoe to wear to my son’s graduation and I tried for 3 weeks to break this shoe in. I bought a wide and it still pinches my toes and is too tight everywhere else except for the strap! This shoe is not comfortable at all and I would not recommend it to anyone. If I would have went to a bigger size and width, it would have been extremely big as to where the strap always falls off now as it is. It says this shoe is for comfort, but it's not.
