The bumpy texture of the bottom (sole) feels good on your feet. The only negative thing about the shoe is the heel - it was stiff and cut into the back of my heel somewhat making it necessary for me to put band-aids on the backs of my heels to protect them! || Carhartt - Waterproof Insulated (Brown) - Footwear Female's Opinion - Much better than Rainbows – I have very wide, duck feet. So when shopping for flip-flops, I nearly always head for the men's section. These flip-flops are simply superb! I normally wear a 7.5-8 in Women's sizes and I bought these in a Men's 8. They fit the bed of my foot perfectly, the arch support is fantastic. I bought these to replace my Rainbows (which hurt my feet after an hours wear) and they're a huge improvement. My only gripe is the thick strap hurts whenever I move forwards. I think the straps are designed to be more "pushed back" than I'm used to. I'm trying to speed in the break-in period by wetting the underside of the strap, which makes a huge difference comfort wise. Great shoe! I can see these lasting me a long time. My Rainbows lasted 4 years! || Carhartt - Waterproof Insulated (Brown) - Footwear Unreal! I've never purchased a pair of shoes that didn't require some "break in" time!!! I bought these for my stepson’s wedding and wore them for 12 hours. That includes dancing time also. WOW! Great pair of shoes thanks so much. || Carhartt - Waterproof Insulated (Brown) - Footwear Not for walking - This is a very attractive shoe but it tends to slip off my feet as I walk. It is comfortable except when it begins to slip. || Carhartt - Waterproof Insulated (Brown) - Footwear Bought this pair to replace what my daughter wore out after non-stop wearing last spring/summer/fall. She says it is the nicest looking and most comfortable sandal she's ever had. || Carhartt - Waterproof Insulated (Brown) - Footwear Fabulous, but watch the size - These are fantastic, but way smaller then expected. If you wear a Euro 39, you should buy their 40, which translates into a 10! Other than that, I highly, highly recommend them! || Carhartt - Waterproof Insulated (Brown) - Footwear Cute does not mean comfortable - These sandals look great, but gave me terrible blisters on the top of my foot where the rope rubs. I addition, the striped fabric around the heel and the Sperry label are even more sources of irritation. I wish I had sent these back. || Carhartt - Waterproof Insulated (Brown) - Footwear A great sandal to capture the gladiator trend - Really soft supple leather makes for a comfy sandal that feels good first wear and capitalizes on the trend. No arch support so I was a bit heavier on my feet in this one and ultimately the need to fasten two buckles made this one not for me. (Though I did realize only needed to adjust the top one to get in and out of the sandal.) Cute on the foot too, but definitely accentuated my foot which I decided wasn't my goal for this one. Good for casual day due to the heel. || Carhartt - Waterproof Insulated (Brown) - Footwear I was a bridesmaid in my sister-law's wedding and wore these shoes from 10am till 1am the next morning. I rarely wear heels and was able to dance all night in them! These are very comfortable and the wider heel was great for support and ease when either walking down the aisle or dancing on the dance floor. Zappos customer service was great also, as they originally didn't have my size, but assured me that they would before the wedding date...and sure enough they came in plenty of time.
